Gozo is a unique and lovely island that is almost half the size of Malta and has charm in abundance. A totally relaxing and a much more tranquil destination than Malta. The main sandy beach on Gozo is known as Ramla, the red beach, and this offers excellent bathing with a sizable beach area that never seems to be crowded. There are secluded bays and coves such as San Blas Beach to be explored whilst all the waters around the island offering a richness in clarity for those interested in diving or simply bathing.

With an extensive choice of excellent bistros and restaurants that offer you the very best in fresh food, local and international cuisine to suit all tastes. You are able to find good restaurants throughout Gozo and in all its villages, with some villages being only a few minutes apart from each other. In the main coastal resorts of Xlendi and Marsalforn you will be able to dine at the the waters edge with an assured quality of food and value for money. These two resorts whilst being on opposite coasts are only a short drive away from each other, such is the size of Gozo.

In the capital Victoria, you could explore the ancient and splendid Norman Citadel whilst within a few minutes walk is the centre with a varied selection of shops,cafes,bars and traditional market square. Whether you want new or old there is something for everyone in Victoria.

 

The Gozo ferry crossing takes approxiamately 25 minutes (modern drive on/off ferry) and operates every 45 minutes on average.
